Graduated in History and Master’s Degree in Documentation and Information Sciences within the scope of historical-military research and archival methodology at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. He works in Humanities with an emphasis on History and Military History and is the author of several reference publications (exhibitions and research works). He is vice director of the Military Historical Archive. Researcher in the project “TechNetEMPIRE – Technoscientific Networks in the construction of the built environment in the Portuguese Empire (1647-1871)” funded by FCT (PTDC/ART-DAQ/31959/2017), since February 2020.
