Jorge Correia, researcher on the project, gave a lecture entitled “Built heritage in Cabo Verde (15th to 19th centuries): comparative colonial panorama” at the University of Cabo Verde, where he addressed the process of urbanization of the first settlements in the archipelago, the fortification systems and the construction of religious buildings, relating to other contemporary examples that occurred in the Portuguese colonial territory.
